The PRIVACY-SCREEN-24MB Privacy Filter for Monitor by Startech is an accessory designed to protect the information visible on your 23-inch screen, especially on monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio and LCD display, by efficiently limiting the viewing angle to +/-30 degrees. Made of black and transparent plastic with a thickness of 2 mm, this filter is easy to install thanks to its adhesive strips or side sliding tabs, and is reversible, allowing you to choose between a matte finish to eliminate reflections or a glossy finish to enhance visual clarity according to user needs. Besides protecting privacy by preventing side visibility, it includes a blue light reduction feature, blocking between 40% and 51% of wavelengths between 380 and 480 nm, helping to reduce eye strain caused by prolonged screen exposure. Another notable feature is its antimicrobial coating integrated on the matte side, which eliminates up to 99.99% of bacteria on the surface, providing an extra level of hygiene especially useful in high-interaction environments or where frequent cleaning is essential. Weighing only 98 grams, this filter is compatible with frameless screens, offering flexibility for various settings such as offices or public spaces where confidentiality is a priority. Startech, recognized since 1985 for quality and rigor in its products, guarantees a filter that exceeds compatibility and performance standards in the sector, supporting its professional and everyday use. In summary, this privacy filter combines visual protection, eye health, and sanitary safety in a single product tailored to current user needs.
