BigBuy and Tornasol: bringing solar energy closer to all of Europe.
On June 25, we took part in one of Google’s benchmark events: Tree Lab Retail. An open and collaborative event which periodically brings the industry together and seeks innovation through the union of native digital companies and industrial businesses within the retail and logistics sectors.
BigBuy took part in the event with a presentation, along with our client Tornasol. Together, we are bringing solar energy closer to all of Europe by boosting the digital sales of its self-install solar kits throughout Europe.
Our contribution to the day involved Marian Martínez, D2C Manager at BigBuy and Santiago Vernetta, co-founder of Tornasol Energy. During the presentation, Marian and Santiago explained the key aspects of the partnership between the two companies, as well as the challenges of the project and our vision for the future. During the session we were also able to explain to the start-ups and professionals invited to the meeting how BigBuy helps hundreds of companies throughout Europe to grow their sales on digital channels by taking advantage of our knowledge and know-how of European online sales channels, as well as our strengths in logistics and technology.
“At BigBuy, we help manufacturers, importers and brands to increase their sales on different digital channels and at a cross-border level, in a fast and scalable way and by resolving any problem faced by brands that want to start selling online: problems creating online catalogues, managing sales, international shipping, managing returns, invoicing with VAT by country …”
Marian Martínez, D2C Manager at BigBuy
Other companies and startups that took part in the event included El Corte Inglés, Twinco Capital, Mango, Flipflow, Flowww and HolaGlow.
