2020 saw the arrival of the worst global crisis, a time during which we were possibly at our best. In spite of the situation, we grew by 80% in relation to the previous year, reaching a turnover of 65 million euros, when the turnover in 2019 was 36 million euros.
We could say that we have ended the year with the best results in our history, with over a million orders, of which 90% were shipped outside Spain. France and Italy were the countries that generated the most sales, even more sales than Spain.
Today, at BigBuy we currently have a catalogue with over 100,000 items and 3,000 brands (many of them top brands) in a multitude of categories (home, cooking, electronics, beauty, etc.), and we offer the catalogue translated into 24 European languages. This means that, as everything is shipped from our logistics warehouses in Valencia, we are the only wholesaler offering such an extensive catalogue and the possibility of shipping a multi-product and multi-category order in one single shipment and for a single shipping fee.
In 2021, we continue to grow, by 70% in relation to 2020. This consolidates our growth and confirms that our investment in technology since the end of 2018 is beginning to bear fruit.
