BigBuy received an award in the Innovation in Business category from HM King Felipe VI on behalf of the Valencia Chamber of Commerce. This award recognises businesses in the Valencian Community that are leading the way in introducing innovative actions or new lines of business which, with their results, highlight the importance of the Community’s business development.
BigBuy’s CEOs, Salvador Esteve and Victor Amarnani, received this award during the awards ceremony that took place in the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia on September 21st, 2023.
Aspects of BigBuy that were assessed
The aspects of BigBuy that the judging panel assessed in order to award this prize were:
- Innovative capacity as a business strategy
- The strategic vision and permanent capacity to adapt to the needs of the market
- The capacity to collaborate with other companies and bodies in developing R+D+i projects, and the development of collaborative innovation and open innovation projects
Salvador Esteve, founder and CEO of BigBuy, acknowledged that the award is about “recognition of the talent, effort and work of the whole team over many years”. Recognition that “helps us to know that we are on the right path and that helps us to be aware of our impact and progress”
Alongside BigBuy, the other companies that won awards in this edition were Industrias Alegre SA (Award for Excellence of the Business Management Model); Zummo Innovaciones Mecánicas SAU (Boost for Internationalisation Award); Víctor Tormo SL (Digital Transformation Award) and Emuca Group SA (Socially Committed Company Award).
