Synchronisation of the catalogue with Multi-channel Integration Platform
To be able to activate your Darty account you should connect the Multi-channel Integration Platform product catalogue with the Darty Marketplace. To do this, go to the control panel of your BigBuy account and click on Multi-Channel > Emarketplaces. Go onto Darty and start the synchronisation by completing the API connection field.
To get the API, go to your Darty seller account and click on My user parameters (at the top right-hand side, click on the email that appears), then click on the API Key tab. Copy and paste it into Multi-Channel.
Once you have entered the API onto Multi-channel Integration Platform you can start to publish its catalogue. To do so, you must carry out the synchronisation of the categories that you wish to publish in the Darty Marketplace.
PUBLICATION OF THE CATALOGUE
In the synchronisation phase on Multi-channel Integration Platform, select the categories you wish to publish.
If you would like more information about how to carry out the category selection, you can find it in this link
SHIPPING CHARGES AND CARRIERS STRATEGY
Carriers
After synchronising the catalogue categories you want, it’s time to set the carriers as well as the shipping charges. In the Multi-channel Integration Platform panel, disable the carriers you don’t want to work with. We advise you keep as many carriers active as possible, to ensure the orders are delivered correctly.
Shipping charges
To set the shipping costs, you need to access the control panel on Darty and click on My Account > Settings > Shipping charges.
You should take the logistics category (Fam A, Fam B…) into account to modify the shipping charges.
The categorisation of products is carried out in the following way, bear it in mind to set the shipping charges, given that the category they come under will depend on the weight of the products, being in these categories where you should modify, if you wish, and if Darty allows it, the shipping charges.
Weight of the products | Logistics category |
0 – 0.500 Kg | Fam A |
0.500 – 3Kg | Fam B |
3 – 16 Kg | Fam 029 |
16 – 25 Kg | Fam 030 |
25 – 30 Kg | Fam 032 |
30 – 40 Kg | Fam 034 |
40 – 50 Kg | Fam 035 |
50 – 60 Kg | Fam 036 |
+60 Kg | Fam 038 |
You can find out more information about how to configure the shipping charges on your Darty account in this link.
Free shipping
To offer free shipping for all orders, you need to access the control panel on Darty and click on My Account > Settings > Shipping Options and tick the Free Shipping box. By ticking this box, you are offering free shipping to your customers. The shipping charges indicated will be €0.00 and you won’t receive any income for shipping for any of the orders you sell.
You can also, in this same section, offer free shipping depending on a minimum purchase amount. For this, indicate, in each shipping method, the minimum order value for free shipping to apply. This way you will show whether you offer free shipping for orders above the amount you indicate.
PRICING STRATEGY
Once you have selected the categories to publish and after configuring the shipping charges, it’s time to set the pricing strategy.
All of the information is available in the following article: How the pricing rules work.
PUBLICATION OF PRODUCTS
A few hours after it has been published, check that the products have been created on the Darty platform in My inventory > Offer List. Also check that the shipping charges are configured correctly and that the products appear on the Darty web page.
Now you have published your products, you can start to sell.
