How to view the parent reference of a product on the Multi-Channel Integration Platform

If you want to include products by reference on your sales channel from the Multi-Channel Integration Platform, we will explain how to do this below.

Some products from the BigBuy catalogue have various references according to colour, size, measurement or the quantity they contain, as is the case with perfumes, for example.

These products have what we call a parent reference. You need to include the parent reference on the Multi-Channel Integration Platform if you want to add your products to your sales channel by reference.

How do you find a product’s parent reference?

To find the parent reference, firstly you need to copy the product title that appears on the BigBuy B2B Shop.

Once you have copied the title, go to your Control panel>Multi-Channel and once inside the Multi-Channel Integration Platform, click on the Products menu on the left.

Once in the Products section, paste the product title of your choice in the “Product” box and click on the magnifying glass that will appear to the left of the product.

The parent reference for the product being included in the Multi-Channel Integration Platform will appear at the top of the page. You can see it highlighted in the following image.

Copy the parent reference and, in the Multi-Channel Integration Platform, go to Synchronisation and include the reference in the relevant section.
